Attachments

File attachments can be a PDF, Word document, picture, graphic file or spreadsheet.

Highlight the reference or open it. Go to References>File Attachments>Attach File. Navigate to the file required and Open.

References with attachements are identified with a paper clip icon.

To insert a figure, open the reference, go to References>Figure>Attach Figure>Choose File. Select the graphic file and click Open.  The figure will appear as a thumbnail in the Figure field.

EndNote allows you to also import  and create references from PDF files.
