Exporting files using a Macintosh
If you are using Safari, the record file automatically goes into your Download folder. Go to the download folder either on the Doc or in the Finder window, drag the file and drop it on the EndNote program icon. Select the library when prompted and the file should appear in the library. If you see a box Opening uml_view.cgi appear, you can choose to open it with the application EndNote. Another workaround is to save the file (uml_view.cgi) to your computer, then go to EndNote, choose File>Import, locate the downloaded file, and open it after ensuring that the Import Option is set to Multi-Filter (Special).
Important note Whenever you download references into your EndNote library make sure you check that the new references have moved across correctly before merging them with your existing library. Sometimes there are known problems with the different releases of EndNote software. The EndNote site provides updates to correct these.
