Keeping track Print Page

Simple example

In some cases a simple statement can summarise the copyright status of third party copyright content you have used.

For example:

Except where specified, copyright in all content in this unit belongs to the University of New England.

This can be of assistance particularly when you have used (for example) images or other content that may appear to be non-UNE copyright content.

A YouTube example

In the YouTube example below, which uses a lot of shared content, the creators have maintained a separate webpage to properly acknowledge everyone's contributions and the licence terms. See:

Sample for UNE Moodle Unit

If you use a variety of resources, then keeping track of the third party copyright resources you use when you use them can save time in the long run.  By attaching relevant information to the content itself (for example as the last slide of a powerpoint presentation, or as a separate attribution page in your Moodle unit) saves you later investigation and makes it easier to hand the unit over in the future.

Here's an example of how it can work
